The Senior Manager of Product Management is responsible for the lifecycle of business and product ideas from intake through execution. This includes capturing and ideating, categorizing, refining, shepherding product capabilities into the demand funnel based on value.  Critical in this process is the need to build strong organizational relationships where the maturation of these ideas can occur with an eye on quantifiable value creation.  This role is critical in driving the intake to roadmap realization process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on product lifecycle management methodologies and processes and coordinate continuous process improvements. Manage end-to-end product and insights intake to roadmap process.
  • Work closely with Head of Product Management and Analytics, Product Managers, Development Managers, UX, and product and business analysts to align key initiatives with resource allocation to drive realization of the organization's goals.
  • Deliver on product strategy established by Head of Product Management and Analytics, and senior management team members.
  • Work directly with development leadership, architects, and business analysts to understand the development status and quality of requirements and problem/solution scoping entering into development, and address related process and quality issues.
  • Continually enhance the quality of business cases.
  • Ensure product and roadmap deliverables from concept to launch are consistent and are met on schedule.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams toward realizing product and release launch plans.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate the speed and quality of initiatives moving through the process, sharing any success barriers, or opportunities for improvement.
  • Track and monitor the status of initiatives through the delivery process and escalate risks and barriers to executing those initiatives against the roadmap.
  • Lead product team members and drive accountability. Responsible for people management activities; to include employee relations, professional development, performance management, disciplinary action, and travel and expense approvals.
  • Manage product releases with the help of release manager.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8 years of product management lifecycle experience with prior experience leading software development processes, and implementation or launching new products and services
  • 5+ years of people management experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management preferred, but not required
