We are seeking Senior Managers to successfully manage operational workflow improvements and readiness activities for Ingenious Med application workflows.  The Senior Manager's primary responsibility is to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with all levels of staff and stakeholders across firms who will benefit from our comprehensive solutions, and manage end-user readiness items such as adoption, backlogs, review of application settings, program management utilizing benchmarks and KPI's, governance, and other operational risks to ROI.  The ability to effectively communicate requirements and deliverables needed for successful project and issue resolution is critical to the role.


The Senior Manager is responsible for delivering consulting services during the project lifecycle from pre-sales through implementation and post-implementation to ensure successful customer adoption of the solution.  Able to uncover client strategic objectives and collaborate with leaders to package an offering around quality and efficiencies.  Able to articulate and design programs for tracking value, managing and monitoring improvements. The Consultant works cross-functionally to ensure the customer's business and strategic goals are understood and appropriately considered through all project phases including customer solution design, configuration and implementation.


In addition to direct project consulting, this position will be responsible for defining the Ingenious Med Healthcare Workflow Consulting Practice, establishing Practice processes and building relationships across the organization.  Development of the reusable tools such as questionnaires, design and workflow templates, project plans, and other deliverable templates to perform the job effectively and efficiently is expected.

  • Provides clinical and revenue cycle consultative support to customers during implementation, post-implementation, and into project maturity working with customers on analysis and solution enhancement
  • Vendor selection, implementation planning, project management, implementation, optimization, and clinician adoption of Point of Care Charge Capture, Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems
  • Leading and managing a team of revenue cycle and clinicians in a management consulting role performing post live EHR Optimization, clinical content customization, Meaningful Use readiness, and operational readiness for launch.
  • Consults with and serves as an interface with Sales, PSO, Product Development Teams, and appropriate other areas to ensure continuity in systems planning, development and implementation
  • Performs comprehensive post go-live project assessments to ensure customers are maximizing the use of our products.
  • Able to formulate value based approach to continue optimization work should the need exist for operational improvement.
  • Defining project tasks and resource requirements, managing project budget and project resource allocation, planning and scheduling project timelines
  • Invoicing clients for services provided and clearly explaining the value of those services
  • Presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

  • Ability to travel up to 75% required


  • 10+ years' Healthcare Consulting experience with extensive exposure to coding and charging workflows in addition physician office and hospital clinical workflows.
  • Proven track record strategizing and executing operational improvements.  Able to research and drive value based improvements. 
  • Able to closely work with reporting team to design needed dashboard and reports needed to manage business at user, department, and executive levels.  Able to ascertain workflow changes needed upon client data review against benchmarks.
  • Able to articulate revenue impact and quality impact based on incremental workflow improvements.
  • Maintains a comfort level presenting and troubleshooting operational risks collaboratively with experienced healthcare executives.
  • A proven track record of successful project implementation in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience leading complex software implementations for the full project life cycle.
  • Active PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience with clinical workflow analysis required

Technical Skills

  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in MS-Office products - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required
  • Proficient in virtual meeting tools such as GoToMeeting, Live Meeting
  • Knowledge of database structures a plus
  • Knowledge of business intelligence technology, and Tableau specifically, a strong plus
