    The product analyst plays an important part in the overall operations of the product management organization. The product analyst is responsible for reviewing all inbound product enhancement requests from across the organization, qualifying them (adjudicate whether the system can currently meet the needs behind the requests), and gaining clarity on defining the needs for inbound requests, communicating updates back to stakeholder/requesters. Product analysts must be able to understand and effectively communicate with individuals across departments, including providing coaching around product enhancement process, case requirements and managing updates to cases within Salesforce.


    The product analyst will lead weekly meetings to review enhancement requests with product managers and will ensure that requests are organized, groomed and well defined prior to their review with the product management team so that each can be efficiently triaged and prioritized.  The product analyst must have familiarity with IngeniousMed’s applications and product areas, Salesforce case management system, view/report generation and customization.


    • Triage product enhancement requests from internal and external sources
      • Performs root cause analysis and problem identification behind requests
      • Recommends solutions to resolve requests/fulfill needs via current capabilities where possible
      • Collect adequate information to establish relative value among new requests
    • Responsible for organizing regular review and prioritization meetings
    • Maintain up to date notes and provides updates back to requestors when necessary
    • Organize regular intake backlog reviews with product management and departmental staff
    • Attend client calls when required to gather clarifying details
    • Work with product managers, business analysts and delivery teams to guide and support their understanding of requests

    • Ability to write compelling user stories.


    • 5+ years in business, technical, and data analysis for web-based applications with demonstrated success assisting product managers in defining and launching excellent products
    • Experience writing detailed requirements and design (database and UI)
    • Healthcare provider and/or payer industry experience
    • Familiarity with Business Intelligence frameworks and technologies
    • Experience working with development teams
    • Exposure to Agile development methodology
