    The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting external customers in the use of the Ingenious Med’s software products. The Training Specialist will work closely with the Customer Success Team to provide end-user training and best-practice support.  The Training Specialist will review client objectives and workflows with internal resources (project team members, on-going Support members), analyze training requirements, plan, coordinate and deliver application training. End-user training will be conducted not only at the client site but also remotely via web conference and onsite within the Ingenious Med offices. While onsite, Training Specialists will help troubleshoot and resolve application issues, provide personal guidance and client-specific instructions to users as they begin application usage, and take ownership of the success of the client launch.  The Training Specialist will also, under the guidance of the manager, contribute to the creation, maintenance, and organization of user guides, various online training tools, and other training and client-knowledge related materials.


    • Develop in-depth, Subject Matter Expertise (SME) level of knowledge with Ingenious Med's suite of software products.
    • Attend project planning and debriefing sessions in preparation for the upcoming training and support efforts.
    • Clearly understand end user requirements, workflows, and scope of client project to deliver a best practice training approach tailored to each individual client.
    • Plan and develop, in conjunction with other Training Specialists, the content and curriculum that will be delivered to ensure consistency across all training sessions. This will include training materials for in-person and online sessions. 
    • Deliver developed materials in role-based training sessions for new and/or existing clients either on-site, within Ingenious Med office space, or remotely. This will require effective connections to and management of session audiences that typically contain up to 10 participants.
    • Adapt and modify previously mentioned training content and curriculum based on client-specific workflow needs and Ingenious Med release changes. The Training Specialist will engage with their immediate teammates, Support team, and any other appropriate Ingenious Med employees to determine best practice approaches for these individual needs and/or company driven changes.
    • Under the guidance of the Manager-Education and Documentation, the Training Specialist may be engaged to write, design, edit, and publish technical, instructional online content (knowledge articles, deep dives, user guides, FAQ’s) and/or assist with the ongoing maintenance for integrity and accuracy. Since this process is critical to ensure complete and timely updates are made in conjunction with new application releases and/or functionality changes, it can require a quick turnaround.
    • Use appropriate templates for all training and/or online content to follow the consistent style guidelines created by Marketing department.
    • Support and assist with training assessment and improvement efforts as directed.
    • Other projects as needed.


    • Ability to travel up to 80%


    • Excellent organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
    • Ability to learn highly technical concepts and effectively interpret via written and verbal communication to a nontechnical audience.
    • Ability to present instructions and guidance in an engaging and informative manner.
    • Able to work with a high volume of content in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to handle and prioritize multiple requests and projects and easily adjust to ever-changing priorities.
    • Able to work both independently and on a team.
    • Ability to motivate learners and establish credibility.
    • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and deadlines.
    • Willingness to assume ownership in the overall success of a client’s experience with Ingenious Med.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience as a software trainer.
    • Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
    • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
    • Experience with Salesforce Community preferred.
    • Prior experience developing training documentation or online content preferred.
    • Healthcare experience preferred.
