    The Benefits & Payroll Analyst (BPA) manages all aspects of the payroll processing and benefits administration. The BPA will act as the first contact for all employees’ payroll and benefits inquiries. They will process semi-monthly payroll for 180+ multi-state employees via Ultimate Software. They will be responsible for communicating benefit information to new hires and present benefit changes during open enrollment as well as championing the company’s health & wellness program. The BPA will manage the company’s annual open enrollment and serve as a liaison between the broker and the company. The BPA is responsible for staying current on trends in wellness and innovating to bring fun and engaging solutions to the employees. The BPA will serve as an employee advocate, champion and a change agent for the overall culture of Ingenious Med.


    • Analyze, prepare and input accurate and timely payroll data in the Ultimate Software Payroll system.
    • Manage benefit elections in carrier’s portal for new hires and terminations
    • Audit time and attendance within Ultimate Software for integrity
    • Process garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, moving expense and workers compensation reports.
    • Work with Finance to oversee the accuracy and distribution of W-2s and 1095-C forms to employees.
    • Act as an initial point of contact for all benefits and payroll activities; escalate to EAP and/or Brokers when appropriate.
    • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports, including but not limited to payroll, benefits, organization demographics, compensation and EEO.
    • Administer company benefits plans including health, dental, vision, life disability and 401(k).
    • Process all initial enrollment requests, enrollment changes and termination of benefits.
    • Conduct monthly reconciliation of benefit billing
    • Works with third party vendor to administer COBRA
    • Facilitate and Administer (where appropriate) leave plans

    o    LTD

    • Process Workers’ Compensation claims; reports them to the Third-Party Administrator ensuring compliance to leave policies, benefits and laws.
    • Administer Ingenious Med’s health and wellness programs
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local wage and hour laws and regulations
    • May person a wide variety of other duties as assigned to support the Human Resource Department

    ·         Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred

    ·         2+ years multi-state payroll processing and benefit administration experience preferred

    ·         Thorough knowledge in Human Resource laws and regulations required

    ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and ability to learn new systems/technology

    ·         In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll, labor and benefit regulations

    ·         Prior experience working in a high growth environment

    ·         Experience partnering with business leaders

    ·         Previous experience with Ultimate Software preferred
