    The VP of Business Development is responsible for developing and strengthening business relationships with partners, investors, and clients, which will increase revenues, profits, and/or investments. 

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies and pursues relationships with business partners and investors that will lead to the growth of Ingenious Med
    • Performs competitive analysis, investor analysis, and partner analysis, in development of key business relationships that align with Ingenious Med’s organization mission, values and growth plans
    • Monitors external and internal environment for development of new sales channels
    • Assists in or produces feasibility studies/business plans for new sales channels and business partnerships
    • Selects and pursues the most beneficial partner and investor relationships
    • Manages specific assigned existing partner and investor relationships
    • Assists in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from partners and investors
    • Furnishes sales advice, counsel and general support to all regions in the sales organization

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
    • 10+ years’ experience in a strategic sales or sales management role
    • 5+ years of strategic business experience (Healthcare preferred)
    • 5+ years’ experience leading a team
    • Strong experience in the Healthcare Information Technology industry
    • Experience in Hospital or Practice Revenue Cycle Operations
    • Significant experience interpreting customer business needs and translating them into requirements
    • Small to Medium Business Software industry experience is preferred
