    Working within a project team, the Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs from stakeholders, interpreting them into functional requirements, and leading the solution development efforts. The BA serves as subject matter experts through the life of any given development initiative and are responsible for collecting and interpreting feedback and ensuring that appropriate feedback makes its way into the development cycle at the proper time. At times, the BA supports the various department needs, including sales, marketing, training, implementations and technical support.


    ·         Elicit and analyze requirements from internal and external stakeholders

    ·         Organize, translate and simplify requirements into user stories

    ·         Drive completion of solution design and manage deliverables from Architecture and User Experience

    ·         Work with Development and QA teams to implement solutions

    ·         Communicate status

    ·         Review and approve Test Strategy

    ·         Accept completed user stories

    ·         Manage project scope



    ·         Less than 5%



    ·         Must be proactive in identifying, heading off issues, and escalating when appropriate

    ·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

    ·         Excellent culture fit and ability to collaborate with the team

    ·         Must be able to work independently within a quickly changing environment

    ·         Must have an excellent analytical skill set, with attention to detail

    ·         Proven track record of successful management of resources and timelines

    ·         Excellent time and task management skills

    ·         Understanding of systems engineering concepts



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or commensurate work experience
    • 2-5 year(s) experience working as a business analyst including:
      • documenting results of analysis and work-flows
      • interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements
      • working with cross functional teams, including developers, architects, QA resources
    • 1-2 year(s) experience working within the Agile development methodology
    • Experience with managing projects from inception, through production release and beyond
    • CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) Certification, or equivalent, optional
    • Experience in a health-care related field
    • Mid-level SQL, database skills. Ability to write and execute queries.
